Hi, I’m Kelsey!

I’m the artist behind KelseyTeneal Blythe, where every doll is carved, painted, and assembled entirely by hand.

Believe it or not, this all started with a birthday gift. I wanted to create something truly one-of-a-kind for a friend, so I customized my very first Blythe doll. Somewhere between carving her face, painting the tiny details, and choosing every little accessory, I completely fell in love with the process. What started as one special gift quickly turned into a passion I couldn’t stop thinking about.

Before I ever picked up carving tools, I spent years as a licensed cosmetologist. That background taught me how much tiny details matter—balance, color, precision, and the little finishing touches that make something feel truly beautiful. I bring that same attention to every doll I create.

No two dolls are ever exactly alike. Each one has her own personality, expression, and story. From hand-carved features and custom-painted faces to carefully selected eye chips, hair, outfits, and accessories, every doll is made with patience and love.

My hope is that when one of my dolls finds her new home, she becomes more than just a collectible. I want her to be something that makes you smile every time you walk past her—a little piece of art that’s uniquely yours.
